Gangway vents
KJ Klimateknik’s own gangway vents are applied in connection with diffuse ventilation. Gangway vents are positioned in the ceiling – above the gangway.
With a low degree of ventilation, the vents are closed and the air is exclusively supplied via the diffuse ceiling.
When the degree of ventilation exceeds a pre-determined percentage, the gangway vents open and the air is primarily supplied via the gangway vents. The air from the gangway vents slowly falls over the gangway area and then across the pen installations and down into the pens. This system provides the advantages of diffuse ventilation at a low degree of ventilation. Simultaneously, a good air circulation and interior climate is created – even during the warmest periods.
